literacy, maps and magnets, Oh my!

Drip Pan from Wal-Mart!
My students love the magnet board. Sure I have lots of store bought magnets. But these ideas are really neat! Think about what odds and ends your have in your classroom. How about pieces from games bought at the thrift store,  pieces from a puzzle, Popsicle sticks, etc.
All you need is glue and magnets.
Pictures printed from the internet of animals, plants, food, toys, and then laminated. Then cut and magnets were then hot glued to the back of them,
Old game pieces

Scrabble tiles, Oh Yeah!
An old map cut , laminated and magnetic tape.
